Evaluation
Question One: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media conventions?
My Film Poster Conventions by Eleni Papaioannou
Using the website thinglink, I have created an interactive presentation about the conventions of my film magazine. Please scroll over all the tags to see my evaluation.
Question Two: How effective was the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
It was important for me to have continuity and synergy between all three of my media products if I wanted to reach a wide target audience because of the fact that media can be consumed in so many different ways from film to magazines thus the promotion reaches people who are interested in different forms of media. This is why it is important for my audience to quickly identify the common features of Perception through all parts of the marketing campaign. I also want to create a coherence between all three media products as the audience should be able to denote and connote similar meanings from all parts of the marketing campaign to ensure that the narrative and genre is being pushed forward. In the video below I have created interactive annotations of my film trailer analysing and evaluating my combination of all three media texts.
Question Three: What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
After my first set of feedback from the rough edit of my trailer, I went back and changed certain things to make it appeal more to my audience using things I had learned from my audience feedback.

I carried on making these sorts of changes to create the final product. I then went back and asked people to view the final trailer to see what they thought of it now. I recorded their responses and uploaded it to a website called Chirbit. Here are the responses.
