Preliminary Task

Friday 22nd September

Before I start to make my own trailer, it would be useful for me to get used to filming and using different camera shots as this is a new skill I will have to develop for my trailer. I worked with another media student in my class, Chloe, to storyboard an idea and plan for our short film. Here is a photo of what we came up with below. I took the photo on my iPhone and then uploaded it onto my blog.

Friday 29th September

Today was the day we filmed our preliminary task. We took turns filming each shot so that we both had a chance to get to grips with the different camera shots and angles as well as editing about 30 seconds each of the final video. Here is the final cut which we made using the software iMovie.
